Robin Le Sautreour

Robin, inspired by the legendary garb-making abilities of his friend Tyrson of Darksphere, founded Fish Head Fashions in mid 2004.  Robin is an active member of the SCA, residing in the Barony of Bhakail.  A member of the famous Bhakaili Branslers Band, he plays the hammered dulcimer, flute and tinwhistle.

Mundanely, Robin is pursuing a doctorate in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania.  He named his business in honor of his surly fish device (see upper left), which came about after he was told that clownfish just weren't period.  He has two cats and a tankful of brackish water pufferfish.
He sews nearly all his garb (including his medieval pavilion tent) with a 1929 Singer sewing machine he refurbished himself.

Eustacia, Robin's wife of three years, also creates garb for Fish Head Fashions.  She particularly enjoys designing and sewing heraldic banners and clothing.  She also enjoys delicate embroidery and beadwork.  She recently discovered in interest in fighing in the SCA herself, and would love to begin designing finery for armored men and women.

Mundanely, Lesley has a doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania.  She is also a professional bellydancer, performing all over Philadelphia, and has sewn several of her own costumes.  She designs websites as a hobby, including this one.
